Disillusionment

Note the graph above and note the lowest point. Yes - these are the phases of a teacher throughout the year. That is exactly how I am feeling right now. I am at the bottom and can only hope that things will look up after the mid-winter break. Cross your fingers!

My advice from my dad last night - coming from his Ultra runner peers- was to never make any major life decisions when you are going through a tough time. I really need to listen to this advice. All in a weeks time I have vowed to change careers, cities, houses, etc.

I know I have so much to be thankful for - it's just hard to see right now.
Sorry for the bummer post - my blog - my rules - and I want to remember this feeling next January when I realize how great things really are in May!
