snowflakes falling on my head

Oh the joys of living in the NE - the snow. Now being a Texan all my life I am not used to the snow and I really don't like it. It is cold, wet, and really puts a kink in my plans. Last time it snowed this winter it took Dave 2.5 hours to get home and he missed my school's holiday party. bummer! This time the snow was forecasted to be 6-9 inches where we lived and 3-5 in the city so we canceled the school event we were going to have at school on Saturday. We only ended up getting a couple of inches and it really didn't make a mess of things - thank goodness! More snow is expected on Tuesday so we will see where that leaves us! To give my hubby a shout out: he is wonderful with helping me in the snow. He always shovels my car out and cleans it all up for me. It is a great help.
